Taco Tuesday

I ran 4 miles on Saturday.  My first run since January and it was VERY slow, but at least I finally got out there and did it.  I'm hoping to run more... soon.

The treadmill that we bought is still in its enormous box sitting in the garage.  Who wants to help us move it to the basement?  Not only would I like to be running, but I would also like to park in the garage again.

Baby Girl is not cooperating when it comes to bedtime.  I don't know why she has such a hard time going to sleep, but the bedtime routine lasts for a couple of hours before she is FINALLY down for the night (or a few hours, as is usually the case).  So my plans for exercising in the evening hours have not been happening.  By the time Baby is asleep (for good, not just for 5 minutes before she wakes up and fusses again), its an hour past (passed?) my bedtime and I am very tired and cranky.  One of these days we will figure out how to get her to stay asleep in her crib (and not in my arms) and then I will be able to get my butt in gear.  I mean - HELLO! - I have a half marathon in 9 weeks!
But man, is she ever cute!

Oh man, I know exactly what you mean trying to find time to work out with baby. I've been trying to do it in the morning when my older girls are in preschool but by the time I get them dropped off, he needs to eat, and nursing takes like 40 minutes with that kid. And then I change him and by the time he's finally settled down and ready to sleep I have to go pick the girls up. Where does that 2 hours go? Nights would work better since my husband could just hold him but I'm so exhausted at night, it's tough. Guess that's why I am reading blogs right now and not running! LOL!

Great job on your 4 miler! That's a big accomplishment. I'm barely up to 3 and we're talking slow 12 minutes miles. We'll get their eventually right? : )

Oh and p.s. When we got our treadmill it sat in the garage for awhile too (those things are insanely heavy!) So I finally broke down and paid some guys to come move it into the basement and put it together. Money well spent ; )

HAng in there! Figuring out and balancing baby/momma time is tuff. It will all work out. I remember Luke going through a ruff sleep time around 4 months. It didn't last very long, thank heavens! I love that Katie always has a cute bow on her head.

I'll come over and help with the treadmill. (But I can make Josh do the heavy lifting) Even tonight, if you would like!

Weston went through a rough patch with sleeping probably around that same age. I had to force myself to just let him cry in his crib for a while. I think it paid off, since now I just put him down and he's asleep within 5 minutes without even crying.

P.s. I miss you.
